Im Sick and Determined to Travel.

I'm totally sick and it all happened at once. Now I'm drinking tea like 24/7 and I've been making a power point to show my parents all the different programs I'm researching. So far I've come up with AFS and Where There Be Dragons and a couple others i don't like as much; CIEE and Rustic Pathways. I don't like those because they look like its not for as long and its focused more towards a certain curriculum. I think it would be fun to be just suddenly immersed in a countries culture. It might cost some serious money though, like 5 thousand to 13 thousand or more. It all depends which program i choose in the end and how long I'm staying and where I'm going. I'm planning on doing a Gap Year Program, which just mean ill be going between high school and college. :) Wish me Luck!

ps. The picture is from this summer, we went floating down one of those Forks by Polson i think. It was super fun, Emily went along too, we had a blast! Up until the end when we couldn't find the take out and Emily had to paddle up river like a mile.
pps. How do you like those LINKS dad?
ppps. oh yeah dad, you should def check that last link out.

  1. I highly recommend that you look into Rotary Youth Exchange. It's less expensive, and, I felt, less restrictive. Wherever you go, choose a program that's at least six months, but a year is even better. Less than that seems not to give the same benefits. Just my $0.02...
